- Charlie Gillett (sitting in for Andy Kershaw) will play 2 tracks of Doom & Gloom (Blind Willie Johnson and Bessie Smith) in the popular worldmusic show on BBC Radio 3, on Monday, the 24th of September (23.15 - 1.00) - Nigel Wood, presenter of the "Ear to the globe"-radio show on RTÉ Radio Dublin, Ireland writes: 'The "Doom and Gloom" collection ("Early songs of angst and disaster") was obviously going to be a favourite right away.

Sidewalk Songs & City Stories
International release of Trikont's "New Urban Folk" compilation !

The international streetday of the new ORIGINAL TRIKONT COMPILATION "Sidewalk Songs & City Stories - New Urban Folk" (TRIKONT US-0360) will be end of march 2007. The CD comes in a Digipak with a detailed booklet in english and german. The record is compiled by Martin Büsser, german author and music journalist ("Testcard Series - Articles on Pop History", "Anti-folk - From Beck to Adam Green" on Ventil Press), who also wrote the extensive linernotes.
